It's already halfway through 2017 and by now we all know that if you want to run a successful business you have to have social media.  Lets face it, your people want to see your face.  They want to know you before they buy from you or even give you their time for that matter.  This is where I come in.  Here's a beautiful example of one of my social media packages.  This is Heather and her fabulous staff of Fox Den in River Falls, WI.

When Heather and I discussed her session our focus was to show their friendly neighborhood staff, that it is a family owned business and without children they wouldn't be there.  If you haven't stopped in for a visit yet, you're REALLY missing out.

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Today is your lucky day because you get to meet Mr. Handsome.  Born on Valentine's Day, he was only 11 days new when I photographed him at home.   I photographed both his big sisters when they were brand new too so this was a pretty special moment to photograph them all together.  Getting a new sibling is a pretty awesome.

We are so excited to announce the grand opening of our second photography studio location in River Falls, Wisconsin.  We have lovingly had our studio in St. Paul for the past six years but it's time for us to move on.  The St. Paul studio has been such a wonderful home to start and grow my business and meet some great friends along the way.  We have officially decided to let that location go and focus on creating a better client experience at our new location and we invite you to celebrate with us!

When: Friday, June 3rd and Saturday, June 4th

Time: 11:00-3:00

Where: 112 N Main Street, River Falls, WI 54022 (A short beautiful 30 minute drive from the cities).

We'd love for you to come and help us introduce our new studio to the neighborhood.  There will be treats, drawings for prizes and of course a photo booth.

And don't ever forget... You make me smile.  xoxo

*current BRP clients will receive a discount with their first session booked with me at the new studio.  Travel fees for me to come to the cities will also be waived for all current clients.

This image is a digital make up of what we are considering for the windows.  So exciting!

Twin Cities Mom - Guest Post

Hello I'm so very excited to share with you our first ever guest blog post.  Introducing...

Mrs. Lara Engh, mother of two beautiful lil peanuts I've been able to photograph since they were a sparkle in mom and dad's eyes.  xoxo

Hello. Lara here, I'm happily married with two amazing little ones.

My son, Asher, who will soon be one and my daughter Isla who is a big three year old already.

Here is me, my husband Jason and our lovely lil ones.  Only two missing are the dogs.

My husband, Jason, and I both work full time outside of the home. Our days are very typical of a young family, and very busy. Most week nights, we have 2-3 hours with our kids after work, which includes getting dinner on the table, bath time, play time and bed time routines. I cherish these few hours I get with my kiddos, especially because I don't even get them every night. There are some evenings that work keeps me away until after bed time and I miss out on it completely.

With my position, it'd be very easy to continue to work once I get home, however, we've implemented a no work policy until after the kids are in bed for both my husband and I. Without it, one of us would end up working, I'm sure. Turning everything off has really allowed us to focus on family during that time. Not only does that make for happier kids, but happier parents too. We get to laugh and play, and really enjoy this moment in our lives. Plus, it keeps our daughter off the iPad and away from the TV as well, which I think is just as important.

On nights that work takes me away from my little ones, they are still always in my mind. It especially helps when I can show off their amazing pictures of them to other people.
